Focusing on the 5 Steps (or Practices) of Shanker Self-Reg®: Reframe, Recognize, Reduce, Reflect, & Restore

This six-session online course intends to build on our first Professional Learning course Self-Reg Framework 101, but can also be taken as a standalone option for teams interested in focusing on learning the 5-Step Method of Self-Reg; Reframe, Recognize, Reduce, Reflect, & Restore. This method is really the heart of Self-Reg and builds on the understanding of stressors across the five domains (biological, emotion, cognitive, social, prosocial).

This is a fantastic Self-Reg Introductory Course and is a great resource that can be used by teams in-person or online for professional development. Explore the modules & content included below.

All modules are taken online, so learner groups can engage from anywhere. No need to find times when a group can meet face-to-face! Though we do recommend groups discuss their learning and take part in the activities together.

Why? Why Now?

Understanding stressors involved in behaviour and well-being is a huge first step for many, but where to from there? 

This professional learning series, designed for teams, explores the 5 Steps (or Practices) of Self-Reg: Reframe, Recognize, Reduce, Reflect, & Restore. These steps give us the framework not only to understand stress but to reduce it both in the moment and in future occurrences.

PLS Frequently Asked Questions

Do we each get an individual log in?

Unfortunately not, with a group purchase you will receive a single log in that you are welcome to share with all those within your group of 25 learners who need it. If you would like separate log ins, we recommend that each person in your group register individually here. Or reach out to info@self-reg.ca and we can invoice you and bulk enroll all of your users. 

My Group is Larger or Smaller than 25 people, what should we do?

We absolutely welcome any group big or small to take part in this learning. If you are plus or minus a few learners, that is no problem. For larger groups, please reach out to info@self-reg.ca who can give you an estimate and work with you on group pricing. For much smaller groups we recommend that each person in your group register individually here. 

Can I pay by another method? 

Absolutely! If you need to pay by another method or need an invoice or estimate for a purchase number, no problem! Reach out to info@self-reg.ca and our team will be happy to help.

Will I get a certificate of completion?

Yes! These are just in development and will be released soon. Once you have watched all the videos, a blank certificate will unlock. You will be able to download and fill in this certificate for each person on your team.
